Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) constitute a binding agreement between you and Hagerly LLC (“Hagerly,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the Leagues mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are an adult and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
The Service generates a light-hearted score and a “settler / reacher / dead heat” verdict, together with a roast and a shareable card. These outputs are produced by software for amusement and do not constitute factual statements regarding attractiveness, health, character, or worth, and must not be relied upon for any purpose. You agree not to use the Service to harass, demean, or harm any person, including yourself.
3. Photographs and consent
You are solely responsible for each image you submit to the Service. By submitting a photograph, you represent and warrant that:
- you have the lawful right to use the image;
- every individual depicted is an adult (18 years of age or older); and
- every individual depicted has consented to being analyzed and rated by the Service.
The submission of images depicting minors, or of any individual without that individual’s consent, is strictly prohibited. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for a description of how photographs are processed; such images are scored at the moment of the request and are not retained on our servers.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) harass, defame, or violate the privacy or rights of any person; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, interfere with, or impose an unreasonable load upon the Service; or (d) otherwise use the Service in any manner that harms Hagerly or any user. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms.
5. Subscriptions and credits
The Service offers a Pro subscription and consumable credit packs, purchased through your App Store account:
- Pro is an automatically renewing subscription that unlocks unlimited ratings and the detailed report. It renews at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the then-current period. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
- Credits are one-time consumables available to non-subscribers; one credit is required for each rating. Credits are consumed upon use and have no monetary value.
- Applicable prices are displayed within the application prior to purchase, and payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation.
- Except where required by applicable law or under Apple’s policies, all purchases are final and non-refundable. Refund requests are administered by Apple.
6. Intellectual property
The Service and all associated materials, including its design, mascots, name, and content, are owned by Hagerly LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the photographs you submit, and you grant us only the limited, temporary right to process such photographs as necessary to generate your score.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that any score is accurate, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the Service will meet your expectations. Any reliance upon the output of the Service is at your sole risk.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HAGERLY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hagerly LLC and its officers, members, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your submission of any image, or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
10. Termination
You may cease using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, shall survive.
11. Amendments
We may amend these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves. We will revise the effective date set out above and, where the changes are material, provide notice within the application. Your continued use of the Service following any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State], United States, in which Hagerly LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights to which you may be entitled under the laws of your jurisdiction.
